This is what happens when you stay up too late answering email while your husband watches talk shows: You find out that “The Doctor” Peter Capaldi once played with the Late Late Show’s Craig Ferguson in a 1980s punk rock band called The Dreamboys (previously “The Bastards from Hell”).

And then Life, which up to a few minutes before had been skipping along merrily, turns strange.

I don’t think Ferguson is on this recording, but it might give you an idea of what I mean:
